Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize Groupe Dynamite's network infrastructure across our corporate offices, retail locations, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our network systems, with a particular focus on Fortinet, Extreme Networks, and wireless infrastructure. You will work closely with the Technical Support and Security teams to deliver reliable connectivity and seamless user experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain the network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, Extreme Networks switches, routers, and wireless access points; Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability; Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, VPN configurations, and segmentation strategies; Perform proactive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management for network devices; Assist in the design and rollout of new network projects, including store openings, office expansions, and cloud integrations; Troubleshoot complex network incidents and coordinate with vendors or service providers as needed; Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, inventories, and change records; Collaborate with IT Security and Technical Support teams to support incident response, monitoring, and access control initiatives; Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network issues after hours.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field; Experience: 3-5 years of experience in network administration or an equivalent technical support role. Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer); Proficiency with Extreme Networks switches and wireless systems; Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching; Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices; Experience with SD-WAN, network segmentation, and VoIP setups is an asset; Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive; Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies; Availability for occasional after-hours support.
