Your opportunity:
At U of T Mississauga, we are looking for an exceptional Network Administrator to join our Network Engineering team. Your primary duties include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of local area, wireless, and wide area networks. This includes monitoring network performance, identifying connectivity issues, and collaborating with senior staff on complex problems. The role involves the deployment and management of switches, routers, and wireless access points, as well as participating in network-related projects, upgrades, and rollout activities. Accurate maintenance of documentation and procedures is essential.
You will be part of a highly motivated and dynamic team supporting and maintaining the U of T Mississauga campus network. You will contribute to strategic and tactical planning, development of departmental network and telecommunications standards, and liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal staff.
