Our client is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a range of networking technologies and systems, with a focus on Linux-based routing systems. This role requires a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of network infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a dynamic environment.What you will be doing:Manage, configure, and maintain networking systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.Monitor network performance and proactively address any issues or potential bottlenecks.Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and other infrastructure challenges.Work with various networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Utilize and manage Linux-based routing systems to ensure efficient and secure network traffic.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support ongoing projects and network improvements.What you must have:Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and tools (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).Experience with Linux-based routing systems is essential.Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex networking issues.Familiarity with network security practices and protocols.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Nice to have:Experience in large-scale or enterprise environments.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Linux+).Experience with cloud networking technologies is an asset.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
