30.0517 to 32.0878 per hour (plus 20% Resource Adjustment, Subject to Employment Status may be paid at 8% in lieu of vacation and stat holidays as per CUPE CA article 6.08 (a))
JOB PURPOSE
The Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians as well as performing the work of a Pharmacy Technician.
QUALIFICATIONS
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and licensed to practice in New Brunswick.
Two years of previous experience performing duties of a Pharmacy Technician is required. Must have demonstrated supervisory ability.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for:
Coordinating and supervising the work of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians
Performing checking functions and clinical support duties
Coordinating and supervising Pharmacy Technician student placements
Participating in performance management, certification and interview processes of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians
Acquiring, preparing, checking and distributing medications and pharmaceutical products.
