Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves assessing tree health, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safety and aesthetics of our clients' landscapes. The Arborist will utilize various tools and equipment, including bucket trucks and rigs, to perform essential duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of trees to determine health, stability, and necessary maintenance. Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment. Operate bucket trucks safely to reach higher branches for maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including GIS mapping for landscape management. Collaborate with clients to provide recommendations for tree care and landscape improvements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment and performing tasks. Assist in landscape maintenance activities as needed, including planting and garden care.

Skills

Proficient in bucket truck operation and rigging techniques. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and planning purposes. Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and terrains. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members. Attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols during all operations. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with tree care.

Pay: $19.65-$45.00 per hour
