Full job description
MUST have experience with hand stretching pizza dough and cooking it in a wood/gas fire oven for a minimum of 1 year. Neapolitan pizza is a traditional Italian pizza from Naples, characterized by its soft, thin, tender crust with a puffy crust. It is cooked quickly in a very hot wood/gas-fired oven, resulting in a moist center and elastic, airy crust.
Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant's menu
Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity and reports to the Chef
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines
Professional and responsible conduct
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Teamwork skills
Good verbal communication skills
Organizational skill
