Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nondestructive Testing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on various materials and structures. Duties

Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiographic testing to evaluate the integrity of materials and structures. Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Collect and analyze data from tests to identify defects or irregularities in materials or construction processes. Collaborate with construction teams to provide insights on quality control measures and potential improvements. Document findings accurately and prepare detailed reports outlining inspection results and recommendations for further action. Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated according to industry standards. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with advancements in nondestructive testing technologies and methodologies.

Experience

Proven experience in nondestructive testing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with construction processes and quality control practices is essential. Strong analysis skills are required to interpret test results effectively. Experience in data collection methods related to quality inspection is highly desirable. Prior experience in construction inspection will be considered an advantage.
