As an

NDT Technician

, you'll perform liquid penetrant inspections on flight-critical components to ensure safety and reliability. You'll be responsible for carrying out inspections, interpreting results, and documenting findings in line with aerospace industry standards.


Work Schedule:



Training:

Monday to Friday, daytime hours

After training:

May transition to a different schedule. Flexibility with shifts is required

Responsibilities:



Perform

Liquid Penetrant Inspections (LPI)

following work instructions and specifications. Inspect and interpret results, marking and documenting discontinuities as required. Ensure test equipment and materials are properly maintained and serviceable. Collaborate with engineering, inspection, and production teams to resolve technical issues. Mentor and support trainees during on-the-job training. Contribute to continuous improvement and cross-training across inspection methods. Follow all safety procedures and immediately report any concerns.

Requirements:



Certification (preferred):

+

NAS 410

certification, and/or
+

CGSB (CAN/CGSB-48.9712, Option B) Level 1 or 2


Knowledge of discontinuities found in aerospace materials. Ability to read technical documentation and write clear inspection reports. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. 1-3 years of related NDT experience (aviation/aerospace preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods.
