Position Overview



We are seeking a strategic and experienced

National Strategic Account Manager

to lead our national account initiatives and manage a high-performing team of account professionals. This role is responsible for overseeing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring consistent service delivery across Canada.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage a team of Strategic Account Managers across multiple regions. Develop and execute national account strategies to drive growth, retention, and profitability. Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value industrial clients. Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients and internal teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, marketing, and technical services to deliver integrated solutions. Monitor account performance, pipeline activity, and team metrics; report regularly to senior leadership. Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding service offerings. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence within the team. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of experience in strategic account management or sales within industrial distribution. 3+ years of experience managing people or leading teams. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level clients. Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel nationally as required.
