As we continue to expand, we are seeking a National Operations Director to oversee branch performance, strengthen operational consistency, and act as a bridge between executive leadership and branch management.
Position Overview:
The National Operations Director will report directly to the COO and executive team. This role combines strategic oversight with hands on branch support, ensuring that every branch operates at peak efficiency and aligns with company wide goals. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who can coach and mentor Branch Managers, while also driving national initiatives to improve service quality, profitability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across all Canadian branches, ensuring service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary link between branch operations and executive leadership, translating national goals into branch-level execution.
Work closely with Branch Managers to review KPIs, financial results, staffing levels, and customer retention metrics.
Travel regularly to branch locations to provide in-person leadership, coaching, and operational support.
Standardize and implement best practices for service delivery, technician performance, and customer experience across all branches.
Collaborate with leadership to design and implement growth strategies, including expansion into new regions and scaling branch operations.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop action plans with Branch Managers to address performance challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Partner with HR and Training teams to ensure consistent leadership development, onboarding, and technician training across the country.
Support recruitment, workforce planning, and retention initiatives to maintain strong staffing levels and operational stability.
Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement across all branches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Preferred).
4+ years of experience in operations management, field services, or multi-branch leadership is considered an asset.
4+ years in a senior leadership role (Regional Director, Director of Operations, VP of Operations, or equivalent) is considered an asset.
Strong track record of improving performance and standardizing operations across multiple locations.
Excellent leadership and coaching skills with proven ability to mentor and develop managers.
Highly data-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in pest control, field services, or other service-based industries is an asset.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Canada.
