National Marketing and Communications Design Specialist

Are you a Design Specialist who has a passion for driving growth, engagement and conversions?

We\xe2\x80\x99re searching for an experienced Design Specialist to who will develop compelling, effective, targeted, creative that results in increased digital acquisition and engagement, event participation and donations.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what your primary responsibilities would be:

  • Act as a brand champion ensuring brand fidelity across all channels and assets, including websites, print publications, digital graphics, advertising and promotional collateral
  • Design marketing and communication materials for both online and offline use, including but not be limited to; donor and stakeholder collateral, website assets, email marketing, print advertising, event marketing materials, presentations and social media advertising.
  • Collaborate with direct supervisor, extended marcom team and internal stakeholders to develop design concepts that are on strategy, engaging and inspiring and are aligned with program USPs and program goals
  • Develop clear, compelling and effective design solutions for all JDRF channels to engage key target audiences
  • Manage delivery and trafficking of creative for projects and campaigns
  • Determine the most effective visual representation to convey complex concepts and maximize user experience and engagement
Here\xe2\x80\x99s what we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Design or related field plus 3-5 years of progressive Marketing/ Communications experience in a digital-focused company or agency or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Broad marketing channel experience with a focus on digital design
  • Superior working knowledge of marketing and graphic design principles and execution
  • Computer proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (including Illustrator (advanced), InDesign (advanced), Photoshop (advanced), and Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate).
  • Superior project management skills
  • Strong balance of creative, technical, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of both on and offline digital advertising production requirements, as well as experience working directly with different ad specifications, file formats, technologies.
  • Experience in video editing would be a bonus
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
Salary: Salary Range is anticipated to be $55,000 to $65,000, commensurate with skills and experience.

Location Preference: Remote. Anywhere within Canada.
