Job Posting:Ready For a Tasty New Challenge?OverviewThe National Depot Facilities Leader, is the main point of contact to oversee our national network of Depots. This person will oversee, drive and deliver strong results in various depot programs and services. Responsible for directing a team of coordinators to ensure timely execution of tasks.What Wonderbrands Offers:

ResponsibilitiesResponsible to support Wonderbrands Depot Operations in the following areas:Food Safety
  • Ensure program effectiveness
  • Identify critical risk areas to be addressed with both internal & external agents.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking capability to assess risk and navigate thru unique or escalated food safety/quality situations
  • Develop action plans to mitigate any potential food safety risks and support team in removing any obstacles that may delay completion of task
  • Escalation in a timely manner for key action items not being addressed
  • Work with internal & external agents to investigate, assign responsibility and close off pending action items to ensure safe storage of our products.
  • Ensure internal and external audits are reviewed and corrective actions are assigned, actioned and closed within the acceptable timeframe
  • Act as the liaison with key stake holders (Pest Control, Franchisees, Sales, Distribution) to track issues and performance via BI reporting
  • Drive follow up with a sense of urgency, and escalate issues to Senior Management as neede
Services
  • Ensure facilities have the proper services allocated and maintained to ensure each location meets or exceeds the Depot & Trailer Operating Policy
  • Setting priorities for the team to address issues based on risk and severity.
  • Lease renewal and potential site relocations or consolidation
  • Responsibility for depot captain program effectiveness
Reporting
  • Manage data integrity of both internal and external reports
  • Responsible for CAPA completion within specific timelines
  • Follow up on outstanding action items and report impotential risks to deadlines
  • Develop KPI\xe2\x80\x99s that accurately represent current conditions and status for each location
  • Provide Manager and other senior business leaders with weekly and monthly reports demonstrating the effectiveness of our programs as they relate to depots
  • Facilitate quarterly FS program Management meetings
Financial
  • Develop Annual OPEX & CAPEX budgets
  • Work with Procurement team to source most cost-effective vendors and services
  • Clearly articulate planned cost and previous spend by GL category as it pertains to overall cost performance by location
Leadership
  • Coach, mentor and lead a Team of three direct reports
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field
  • Preferred experience in Distribution and QMS programs
  • Basic knowledge of GFSI (preferably BRC), SFCA (Safe Foods for Canadians Act), FSMA, FDA, food safety (HACCP) programs, Preventive Controls, and Quality Systems
  • Project management experience in a distribution and warehousing environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset, constantly reviewing programs and presenting opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to act with a good sense of judgement to determine right priorities
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be willing to travel as required to all Depots
  • Strong organization, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to compile information in an easy to understand format from various input sources
  • Basic knowledge of financial reporting
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
