Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny/tutor to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing, teaching, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in a home or daycare setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while working in a supportive environment that values professionalism and compassion. Prior experience with children, including infants and toddlers, is highly preferred, along with skills in meal preparation, cleaning, and caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including educational play and teaching activities Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs Assist with diapering, feeding, bathing, and other basic infant/toddler care routines Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning related to childcare duties Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies Support children's developmental milestones through nurturing interaction and teaching Work with children with disabilities or special needs as required Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and concerns

Requirements

Prior experience with children, including babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or teaching roles Knowledge of child development stages for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as meal preparation, diapering, and light cleaning Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Reliable transportation or ability to commute safely to the job location Flexibility to work during scheduled hours that may include daytime shifts; weekend availability is a plus but not required
