Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and assisting with daily routines. Assisting with house cleaning, dishes and laundry is an expectation as well.

Duties

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime Provide assistance with homework and educational tasks as needed Offer support for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with patience and understanding Implement daily routines that include playtime, nap time, and outdoor activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns Ensure the safety of children at all times, including knowledge of first aid procedures

Requirements

A recent Criminal record check with vulnerable people area required, no exceptions 3 non-related references regarding your experience with children also a requirement, no exceptions Proven experience in childcare or nannying Strong skills in infant care, toddler care, preschool experience, and overall caregiving Ability to prepare meals and snacks that are healthy and appealing to children Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with families A nurturing personality with a genuine love for working with children
