We are seeking a reliable and caring Nanny (Home Child Care Provider, NOC 44101) to look after two children, an infant and a 5-year-old, in our home located in Toronto.
Responsibilities include:
Caring for the children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and following routines.
Planning age-appropriate activities, reading, crafts, and outdoor play.
Assisting the 5-year-old with homework and school routines.
Housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying play areas, cleaning bottles).
Meal preparation and grocery shopping as needed.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in child care.
Ability to communicate in English (
a second language is considered an asset
).
First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
Must be organized, patient, and dependable.
Criminal record check required.
Availability evenings and weekends on short notice
Employment Terms
40 hours per week + Weekends if Required
2 weeks paid vacation or 4% vacation pay.
Paid public holidays as per Ontario law.
Transportation allowance provided.
This is a live-out position
