Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a loving family located in Downtown Edmonton for a full time live-out nanny.

Position Summary

As a nanny, you will provide attentive and nurturing care in the family's home, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in early childhood education, has private nanny experience, and is comfortable taking initiative to complete tasks related to tidying, organizing, meal preparation, and planning.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, personalized care for our children

Support daily routines, including hygiene, meals, and naps

Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and play

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Communicate effectively with parents about routines and updates

Complete tasks with little direction related to tidying, organizing, planning, and cooking

Plan and participate in outings within the community with the children

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age

Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C

Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Proven experience caring for toddlers

At least 3-year private nanny experience

Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills

Organized, proactive, clean and able to follow directions

Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement

Able to provide recent childcare-related references

Hours of Work

This is a full-time, 35 to 40 hour per week Monday-Friday position.

A typical schedule includes but could change to involve morning hours as well.

12 pm to 8 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Licence/Certification:
