Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including those with disabilities, and possess strong skills in caregiving, cooking, and cleaning. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage children in educational activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences. Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying up after activities and ensuring the children's living spaces are safe and welcoming. Assist with homework and provide educational support to foster learning and development. Provide care for children with disabilities, adapting activities to meet their unique needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Implement routines that promote healthy habits, including hygiene practices and bedtime routines.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny capacity. Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals for children. Experience in cleaning and maintaining a tidy home environment. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents. A nurturing attitude combined with patience and understanding of children's needs. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.
