Duties

Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored caregiving strategies Collaborate with parents or guardians to follow specific care instructions and provide regular updates on the child's progress Plan educational outings or playdates that foster social skills and exploration Assist with light household chores related to childcare, including laundry of children's clothing and tidying up toys

Skills

Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary requirements Experience with caregiving for children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents and team members Ability to perform light cleaning duties related to childcare areas efficiently Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude that fosters a nurturing environment Flexibility in adapting to different routines or schedules as needed for family requirements Teaching or babysitting experience that demonstrates reliability and dedication in caring for children
