Overview

Perfect job for a SAHM with a young child. You can bring your him/her along! We are looking for a part-time nanny for our son and daughter (son is almost 4 years old and daughter is 2 years old) in Bothwell. 8-16 hours per week. Hours are somewhat flexible but would be during the week (Monday to Friday) between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare, possess strong caregiving skills, and be able to educate and support our children's development. This position requires an individual who is reliable, responsible, and enjoys working with young children.

Duties

Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety at all times. Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks. Assist with meal preparation and cooking as needed. Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying up after activities and meals. Support children's daily routines, including playtime, and bedtime preparations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or childcare is preferred. Strong ability to educate children through engaging activities. Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking for children. Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively. A nurturing personality with a genuine love for working with children of all ages. Ability to maintain a clean environment while caring for children.
French and/or Arabic speaking is a requirement.

Since this positionis located outside of an area that offer regular public transportation, access to personal transportation is a must.
