Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a family in Vulcan- but here's the twist: this isn't just a job in Vulcan. This position involves frequent travel that will take you across Canada and the U.S. Think new cities, nature, sunshine, and maybe a spontaneous airport dash or two.

As a nanny, you'll provide attentive and nurturing care in the family's home -- wherever that may be -- ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children.

You'll primarily care for three children (ages 4, 8, and 9), planning fun, enriching activities, supporting homeschool routines, and helping with daily routines.

You'll have your own private bedroom, and all travel expenses (flights, etc.) while with the family are covered.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, personalized childcare

Support children's daily routines, hygiene, and meals

Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines and updates

Support homeschool program implementation

Swimming with the kids

Plan kid-friendly adventures when traveling

Assist with household tasks, including light housekeeping, cooking for the children, and dishes.

Ensure children complete chores and pet care

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age

Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C

Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Proven childcare experience

Private nanny experience is an asset

Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is an asset

High energy, fun-loving, calm under pressure

Comfortable with short-notice changes and flexible schedules

Valid passport

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organized, proactive, and able to follow directions

Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement

Able to provide recent childcare-related references

Hours of Work

40 hours per week. Flexibility required when traveling.
