Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and responsible nanny to support our busy household with five children under 10 years old. The position is

part-time (9 to 15 hours per week)

and requires someone who is engaging, patient, and experienced with young children. The ideal candidate must be

fluent in French

to help foster language development and must have a

valid driver's license

for occasional transportation needs. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, assisting with daily routines, occasional cleaning and creating a fun and nurturing environment. Duties

Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences. Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning and development. Maintain cleanliness in the children's play areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children's needs. Adapting activities to meet their individual requirements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

Fluent in French Proven experience in childcare or caregiving roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development. Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks while considering children's dietary needs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with children and parents alike. A background in education or related fields is a plus but not required. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but can be obtained after hiring.
