Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with children and possess strong caregiving skills. This role involves not only supervising and engaging with children but also assisting with meal preparation, educational activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their development. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met. Assist with homework and educational activities to foster learning. Maintain a clean and organized play area, including tidying up after activities. Provide care for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with patience and understanding. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Create a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or a related field is preferred. Strong cooking skills for meal preparation. Ability to educate children through engaging activities and support their learning. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and parents alike. A nurturing demeanor combined with the ability to maintain discipline when necessary. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the agreed-upon schedule.
