Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a loving family in Edmonton for a part time, live-out nanny.

Position Summary

As a nanny, you will provide attentive and nurturing care in the family's home, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and experienced in caring for children.

In addition to childcare, the successful candidate will assist with light housekeeping, cooking, dishes, driving and laundry.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, personalized childcare

Support children's daily routines, hygiene, and meals

Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines and updates

Assist with household tasks, including light housekeeping, cooking, and laundry

Driving children to and from school

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age

Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C

Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Proven experience caring for children with higher behavioural needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organized, proactive, and able to follow directions

Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement

Able to provide recent childcare-related references

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday- 130 pm to 430 pm

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience:

caring for children with advanced behavioral needs: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:

First Aid/CPR Certificate (required) Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle (required)
