We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Tech to join our dynamic team at Delmar College. In this role, you will take on a rewarding role in guiding the next generation of Nail Technologists as well as services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling rejuvenated and satisfied. For over 75 years, Delmar College of Esthetics and Wellness has been shaping the future of the beauty industry. With an updated curriculum, structured course plans, and consistent enrolment, our Nail Technology Program is set up for success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nail Technology, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of Nail Tech services, instructing students on acrylic application, gel enhancements, nail art and design. Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations. Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with industry standards. Communicate effectively with students and clients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide aftercare advice. Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide clients with the best possible service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Tech or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of Esthetic techniques and nail care practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to upsell services and retail products effectively. Familiarity with sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. A passion for beauty therapy and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills. Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
