Position Title: NA IT Salesforce Lead Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Toronto HQ Requisition ID: 24174
JOB PURPOSE: This is an exciting opportunity to join a team leading digital transformation across the commercial functions at McCain. We seek a CPG and Salesforce experienced professional to work with our NA Business as we transform the way we do Sales. You will transform, identify, and solve business problems and enhance the North America business outcomes, using the Salesforce platform.
You will be responsible for engaging with the North America business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements. You will facilitate the technology processes to translate requirements into technical solution designs and estimates and manage the business stakeholders through the development process to ensure the delivered solution satisfies the business need.
You will be accountable for on-time, high-quality solutions and involved all phases of solution delivery with higher focus on the requirements gathering, analysis, and deployment phases.
You will work as part of an agile delivery team closely partnering with Salesforce Product Owners, Technical Architects, Development and configuration specialists and Salesforce administrators for successful project delivery. For larger projects you will partner with a Project manager to support project administration activities.
To be successful in this role you must have CPG experience, proven track record in transforming Commercial Business with Salesforce, excellent engagement, verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to analyze business processes to translate these into elegant business solutions. Your mission in this role is to maximize the adoption of Salesforce features within the North America Business. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core

  • Regular engagements with key Salesforce users and business process leaders to identify opportunities or solve business problems
  • Execute requirements discovery workshops
  • Analyze and value potential solutions with cost to deliver estimates to facilitate project prioritization and funding decisions.
  • Develop high quality requirements documentation, actionable user stories and test scenario to guide the technical solution design
  • Leverage appropriate business processes mapping methodologies to map the current and future state of business processes.
  • Validate solutions meet the needs of the business and are appropriately tested by the business owners
  • Develop standards for requirement gathering appropriate for different sized changes and opportunities
  • Lead deployment activities with the support of the Salesforce Administrator, in-market technology and business resources and Project Manager for larger initiatives.
  • Setting business priorities and ensure overall delivery of the solution
  • Signing off on user acceptance testing for projects managed
  • Put in place the necessary tracking to ensure sustained adoption, correct usage and ROI of new solutions

Guardianship
  • You will be a guardian of:
    • CRM stakeholder engagement process
    • CRM business analysis and requirements process
    • CRM QA process to validate the solution meets the business requirements
    • CRM deployment & adoption process

Engagement
  • You will engage with diverse McCain Business / Sales audiences with influencing communication style to maximize impact
  • You will work closely with the in-market technology business analysts, key CRM users and business process leaders to capture of new business requirements to a good standard to streamline development cycles
  • As a member of the NA Region IT Team, you will have continuous engagements with the team\xe2\x80\x99s Salesforce Product Owners, Product Architects, Release manager and Support analyst to support new solutions through the product lifecycle.
  • You will work closely with the Team\xe2\x80\x99s Salesforce Administration during the deployment and training phases of the project to ensure adoption of new solutions
  • You will interact with members of the wider technology organization including Finance, the Project management office and procurement to obtain approval and funding for projects and for Project management support for larger initiatives.
  • You will engage with external partners to obtain solution estimates and oversee the development processes to ensure solutions stay on track to meet the business requirements

Capability
  • You will support the knowledge transfer of new solutions to business process owners and members of the Digital Growth team

Innovation
  • You will proactively communicate and introduce new Salesforce features to potential adopters to maximise the value Salesforce solutions deliver to the McCain business.

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Technology/Business/Marketing/Engineering/Science
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • At least 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting Salesforce solutions in particular knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud solutions
  • Working knowledge of requirements gathering and business Process mapping methodologies
  • Experience working within an agile project delivery framework and applying waterfall methodologies
  • Experience of executing pre-solution activities (high level estimates, RFPs, business case preparation)
  • Experience in supporting business process owner in making solution decisions and obtaining solution signoff
  • Experience in working in a CPG company, plus Global business experience preferred

  • Regular travel is not required but may be expected for specific team commitments
  • Applicant must be located within a commuting distance from a McCain office with working from home an option upon agreement with manager and McCain policies.
