Musicworks Canada Heritage Square is seeking an experienced and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team

Immediately with Multiple Days Available

The successful candidate would be:

Tasks:

Capable of teaching all levels of students of different age groups Encouraging and caring to help students develop an enjoyment and appreciation of music in a supportive environment. Motivated to create customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and goals and deliver a high standard of music education Incorporate music theory, technique, and performance skills into lessons Prepare students for recitals and professional exams

Qualifications:

RCM Certified/Equivalent or University Degree is an asset*
Ability to sight read and teach through multiple methods*
Previous teaching experience is an asset*
Experience in early childhood education/development or working with young children, special needs children, adults.*
Ability to play multiple instruments is an asset*

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week
