Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. Duties

Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to students' age and skill levels Foster a positive learning environment that encourages musical exploration and expression Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth Incorporate various teaching methods, including singing, instrument playing, and movement activities Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom activities that enhance musical understanding Collaborate with parents and staff to support student development and address individual needs Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning Occasionally assist with related activities such as classroom events or performances

Experience

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching music is preferred Experience working with children across different age groups, especially in early childhood education Classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to manage groups effectively Skills in cooking are considered a nice-to-have, especially for integrating music into broader educational activities involving young children Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices Proven ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles

Pay: $17.00-$35.00 per hour
