UNISUS International School is inviting applications for a passionate and creative

Music Instructor

to deliver enrichment programming for students in

Grades 6-10

. Possibilities for music enrichment could include digital music production and technology, music theory and composition, vocal ensemble, percussion, and piano.

Tuesdays & Thursdays - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

About the UNISUS Enrichment Program

The UNISUS Enrichment Program is a dynamic extension of our academic curriculum, designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and real-world learning beyond the traditional classroom. Offered to students in Grades 6-10, enrichment sessions provide opportunities for learners to explore specialized subjects such as World Languages, Music, STEM, Visual Arts, Entrepreneurship, and more.

Our enrichment instructors are passionate subject-matter experts who guide students through interactive, hands-on learning experiences that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and personal growth. These sessions complement our International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and support the development of well-rounded, globally minded individuals.Through this program, students gain exposure to new interests and talents, while instructors enjoy the flexibility to design engaging mini-courses or projects tailored to the age group and topic.

Key Responsibilities

Provide group instruction in an area of musical expertise Foster creativity, musical literacy, and confidence Adapt lessons to students' interests and skill levels Support informal performances or student showcases

Qualifications

Background in music education, performance, or composition Experience working with youth in Grades 6-10 Strong teaching, coaching, or mentorship skills Ability to engage students in both technical and creative aspects of music

Contract Terms & Compensation

Part-time

, September to June Competitive hourly compensation, based on education and experience This position requires successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
