Barton Stone-Mount Hope United Church is seeking a gifted and passionate

Director of Music

to lead our music ministry. This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving, inclusive, and Affirming community of faith experiencing exciting growth.

Located on Hamilton Mountain, our historic sanctuary offers beautiful acoustics that inspire joyful worship and vibrant music-making. We place a high value on music as a vital expression of our faith, and we are looking for a leader who will nurture and enhance the musical life of our congregation. Responsibilities include weekly choir rehearsals as well as music leadership during Sunday worship. Organ and keyboard are provided. The tasks of the church musician require up to 8.3 hours weekly.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and collaborative musician who brings energy, creativity, and spiritual depth to worship. They will work closely with our minister, choir, and congregation to plan and lead music that uplifts and unites.
