The Audio Design team is responsible for music direction, composition, mixing, sound design, audio programming mandates, as well as participating in various audio innovation projects.YOUR MISSIONAs a music composer (MC), you\'re tasked with crafting sonic experiences by creating original musical pieces, soundtracks, arrangements, and sound effects in collaboration with the creative team for various projects. We\'re seeking accomplished artists, individuals who, through diverse work experiences, are able to create a variety of musical compositions and thrive in collaborative environments.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting to the Music Director and closely collaborating with multimedia directors:Craft musical scores and generate sound effects;
  • Contribute to the creative process and concept development by suggesting musical approaches that align with project budgets and MF quality standards;
  • Ensure musical cohesion and sound quality throughout the project\'s movement and spatialization, in collaboration with the technical sound designer;
  • Shape and convey the project\'s narrative through sound/audio;
  • Be prepared to present compositions to colleagues or clients as needed;
  • Efficiently compose in various styles, catering to the diverse needs and scopes of projects, from conception to execution;
  • Take part in project integration phases (such as composition adjustments and supervising sound engineers) and site visits when required.
YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES
  • Bachelor\'s degree in instrumental/sonic composition or any other relevant field of study ;
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in sound creation for multimedia environments, events, entertainment industry, performing arts, film, television, post-production, video games, or any other relevant creative field;
  • Fluency in both French and English, both spoken and written (as you\'ll regularly communicate with English-speaking clients in this role);
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Ableton software for production;
  • Familiarity with software such as Cubase, Logic, ProTools, Nuendo, etc., with Ableton being the primary software for interactive sound composition;
  • Ability to mix sound in small team settings.

  • ASSETS:
  • Knowledge of the software Wise, or of Unity and Unreal audio engines;
  • Experience writing scores for various instruments and/or recording sessions;
  • Ability to direct narrators during recording sessions.
SPECIFIC WORK CONDITIONS
  • The role requires being present at the office regularly;
  • Frequent travel abroad.
