Museum Assitant/Retail Sales, Park Corner, PEI The Anne of Green Gables Museum and Shining Waters Craft Shop in PEI is looking for 1 full-time Retail Sales Associate for their Park Corner location. This position will be from mid-May to mid-October. Starting at $15/hourly based on experience. Job Duties and Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store \xc2\xb7 Offer help and provide direct assistance to customers \xc2\xb7 Provide in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, and overall value \xc2\xb7 Answer customer questions and concerns \xc2\xb7 Attend to unique and individual shopping needs of each customer \xc2\xb7 Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons \xc2\xb7 Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, coupon deals, etc. \xc2\xb7 Process purchases, returns, and exchanges \xc2\xb7 Handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner \xc2\xb7 Report anything unusual or any major incidents to management \xc2\xb7 Help organize back stock and perform inventory counts \xc2\xb7 Process newly received shipments \xc2\xb7 Organize and replenish front stock and help merchandise store \xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and tidy work and retail space \xc2\xb7 Be enthusiastic and informative about all products \xc2\xb7 Help create a positive environment for customers to shop and buy \xc2\xb7 Take direction from and report to assigned supervisor Requirements and Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Computer literate; familiarity using POS systems \xc2\xb7 Extremely personable, positive, and approachable \xc2\xb7 Fantastic customer service skills \xc2\xb7 Comfortable standing for long periods of time; can lift up to 20 pounds \xc2\xb7 Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
