municipal transportation infrastructure projects
, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on impactful designs that improve communities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design of municipal road infrastructure projects.
Conduct engineering analyses and prepare design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
Work on detailed engineering assignments, ensuring compliance with municipal and provincial design standards.
Identify and resolve technical challenges by applying innovative solutions and industry best practices.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
6+ years
of experience in
municipal road design
.
P.Eng.
designation in
Ontario or eligible within 18 months
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally 10+ years of experience in municipal road design
Proficiency in
AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/Bentley (InRoads and OpenRoads), and roadway design software
.
Strong understanding of
Ontario Provincial Standards, TAC, and municipal design guidelines
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working on
municipal roadway projects, including urban and rural road reconstruction/widening, intersection improvements, and active transportation infrastructure
.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $105,000.00 - $150,000.00.
