MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING LEAD Effective Date: Based on finding the right candidate Hours:Full Time Office Hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wages: TBD Open Positions: 1 Seeking the next Senior Mentor! The results you will be responsible for include: Program Management and Execution

• Apply proven business development skills and experience to build a sustainable program of work
• Manage client relationships
• Support in coordination of technical staff and assigning of resources to projects
• Ensure project quality is achieved on schedule and budget
• Support quality system processes to ensure consistent execution
• Gather client feedback and adjust processes as required
• Ensure financial success of company through proactive program management, project management, and team coaching

Leadership and Development

• Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing professionals
• Use coaching and mentorship tools to develop strong individuals and a cohesive team
• Live the Journey values in a daily practical sense
• Bring strategic mindset to bear on current planning and growth efforts

Engineering Excellence

• Become a core go-to technical expert for both the clients we serve and the internal team
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, design briefs, design drawings, and specifications as required
• Review team deliverables for accuracy of designs, reports, and studies
• Ensure all engineering work is carried out in accordance with accepted industry standards, company procedures, and client expectations

Education/Experience:

• Professional engineer with 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting role with small and medium-sized municipalities
• Registered with APEGA as a P.Eng., registration in other Canadian provinces a benefit
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and grow a team of high-performing professionals
• Business development experience in both private and public sectors
• Experience, regardless of industry, that exemplifies the Journey values and has prepared you for the responsibilities above
• Exhibit a safety mindset in a professional and personal setting
• Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment and adapting to changing priorities
