HRN is now accepting resumes for Multi Equipment Operators with large earthworks and construction projects experience.


Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks and mine construction contractor in Canada.

• 2 week on / 2 week off rotations; 12 hour days

This position is located on our project site located in the Northwest Territories near Norman Wells.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate Graders, Dozers, Excavator, Loaders to meet daily plan and production targets;
• Safely operate an articulated Rock Truck (Rock truck drivers only);
• Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities;
• Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns;
• Complete production reporting and other documentation as required;
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members;
• Operate other heavy equipment if required;
• Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver\'s License (Class 1, 3 or 5) and clean Driver\'s Abstract;
• Previous experience operating above mentioned equipment in a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting;
• Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life;
• Possess and maintain a valid driver\'s license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven;
• Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades);
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions;
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness;
• Experience with radio communications and protocols.
