ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are seeking a
Multimedia Administrator
to join our team here at Red Rockets. The ideal candidate for this position has a keen eye for branding, a savvy knowledge of current social media marketing trends, and well-polished skills in both graphic design and video editing. They will be responsible for regularly scheduled day-to-day marketing operations and content creation tasks, as well as assisting with the strategic creation & implementation of longer-term design and branding projects for the company. Additionally, this position involves overseeing & utilizing our digital systems & software for tasks such as product rollouts, price adjustments, digital menu board uploads, and point-of-sale (POS) menu changes.
This position allows you to flex your creativity in a hands-on way when it comes to branding, ideation, and content creation. It is a unique opportunity to have your design and marketing experience contribute directly to the future of a growing company and brand. As such, a strong design background is preferred for candidates applying for this position. This is a new position, not an existing vacancy.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
At least
2-3 years of work experience
in at least one of the following fields: digital marketing, social media marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, and/or video editing
A strong
portfolio
of your most recent graphic design, photo editing, and/or video editing projects
Exceptional candidates will also have at least a
bachelor's degree
in one or more of the following fields (or equivalent experience):
o Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
o Graphic Design
o Media Production (Audio & Video Editing)
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficiency in
graphic design, layout design, and photo editing software
(e.g. Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Proficiency in
video editing software
(e.g. Premiere Pro)
Proficiency in
social media marketing platforms
(Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, etc.)
Competency in
Microsoft Office Suite

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and regularly post content to our social media platforms (incl. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter/X), including graphic images, photos, and videos
Write and proofread ad copy for our website, social media, and other promotional materials
Create & implement a marketing schedule to plan marketing campaigns and schedule content posting, for brand consistency & audience reach across all marketing platforms
Assist with coming up with new ideas for both content creation and marketing strategies, based on both current trends and past marketing materials
Monitor relevant metrics across all marketing platforms, and implement changes as needed
Compile weekly reports of the sales performance of our locations, to track the success of promotions and advertising
Assist with project-based branding and promotions, such as seasonal launches and new product rollouts
Implement layout design changes for digital and physical promotional material (such as flyers and menu boards) to reflect price changes, new products, seasonal promotions, and/or general design fixes
Edit point-of-sale (POS) system, upload digital menu boards, update menus on third-party delivery apps, and assist as needed with other responsibilities related to digital systems & software
Assist with digital communications between head office, restaurant locations, and supply chain partners
BENEFITS AND PERKS:
CA$20.00 to 30.00 per hour (paid weekly) (negotiable)
Part-time, 28 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm)
