Multi-Equipment Operator

The operator reports to the Prefabrication Supervisor. They will be trained and expected to be able to operate multiple pieces of equipment when requested, including the CNC Press Brake, the Laser Cut machine, the saw, the drill press, pemsert machine, etc. They are responsible for but not limited to the following:

Operate CNC Press brakes to ensure all parts are bent according to the drawing specifications Ensure that parts that are bent are correct prior to inventorying them Be able to assist with the handling of materials both in flat and bent form Load and unload the material to the laser table for cutting Properly ensure all material to cut is accurate to program Load proper programs for cutting Ensure that material and scrap material are removed and cleaned from all tables and tray daily Assist with picking of material for cut job Assist with cutting and saw work of angle, pipe or tube Communicate with supervisor when issues arise or programs do not function properly Be able to lift up to 50 lbs Clean and organize work space on a daily basis
Position has both day and night shift available. Training to be done on site during the dayshift.

Requirements for the job include:

High School Graduate Post secondary education in CNC equipment considered an asset Attention to detail Able to read and interpret drawings/prints Good communication skills
Starting salary for the position ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
