Position Overview




The multidisciplinary clerk acts as a receptionist, greeting and registering patients; completing all necessary paperwork for the admission process; providing clerical support; taking phone calls or seeing patients in person; scheduling appointments for multiple clinics and physicians; preparing and distributing consultant schedules and assigning consultation rooms; arranging for outpatient clinic tests or referring patients for outpatient consultations with specialists and compiling data for routine reports etc. All this while ensuring confidentiality of information.

As a pre-condition of employment:

All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue. As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

What we are looking for




High school Diploma

Capacity to communicate verbally and in writing in both official languages (French and English). Ability to interact with patients in emergency situations Capacity to manage stress. Good interpersonal relationships. Functional knowledge of computer tools Knowledge of medical terminology would be an asset. * Satisfactory review of the human resources file.
