Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various trades, demonstrating proficiency in tasks such as installation of commercial doors and related door hardware. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints, hardware schedules and installation templates effectively, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project. Successful candidate(s) must supply full PPE and own tools.

Duties

Installation of swing doors & related door hardware and barn door track and doors. Read and interpret blueprints, schedules and templates to execute projects accurately and efficiently. Perform daily tasks with high quality workmanship. Install doors with precision, ensuring alignment and functionality. Install door hardware with precision, ensuring proper functionality and adjustment. Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in multiple trades with a focus on the following skills:

Proficiency in commercial door hardware. Experience in reading schedules and templates accurately. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in construction settings. Minimum 2 years prior experience Drug and alcohol free Ability to work with minimum supervision Follow all company health and safety protocol Remuneration based on experience and skills displayed.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
