The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a

Full-Time Multi-Grade Primary School Teacher at Cleardale Colony School

. This position is to commence as soon as possible and will be a continuing, permanent position.




Cleardale Colony School is situated on the Cleardale Hutterite Colony, Alberta, located about 152 kms from Peace River, Alberta (Range Rd 95, Cleardale, AB T0H 3W0). This school services students of the Hutterite Colony. This is a very remote location.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in teaching in a multi grade environment from grades 1-12 Strong classroom management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment An understanding of rural community and culture

Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
(Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of application of your application.)





This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.


$ 62,702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division).
