Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for the role of a van driver. This position involves ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in driving and warehouse operations, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as required.

Duties

Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transit. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of stock. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Requirements

Valid G-class driver's license (or higher) Minimum 3 years of driving experience Clean driving record (driver's abstract required) Clear criminal background check Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a valid driving license. Experience in commercial driving is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining safety standards on the road and in the warehouse.
