Duties and responsibilities
Class G / DZ driver's license (Class 3 Quebec) Clean Drivers abstract required*

This is a fast-paced environment...*In this position you will have to make timely deliveries to restaurants, hotels, institutions, cafeterias etc. A focus on customer service...*Our drivers are the face of the company. You will likely be interacting with the same people on a daily basis. As such, you will be encouraged to build relationships and troubleshoot problems on the fly. Experience loading, unloading, hand bombing and transporting products Must be able to operate large commercial vehicles in city traffic
Ability to lift packages up to 25 kg.
Experience with "hand bomb" style deliveries an asset
Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded, ensuring safety and road worthiness
Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, occupational health and safety
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order

Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork
Comply with HACCP and SQF Standards
Perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
Qualifications include:
Ability to operate single axel trucks in a safe and responsible manner
Client service and public interaction skills
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Ability to read and write to record deliveries and maintain daily records
Time management skills
Be respectful and flexible
Deal with the public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
A passion for food. Knowledge of fruit and vegetable commodities preferred.
Available to work up to 6 days a week including weekends.
Shift: Start time between 6:00 AM and 7:00Am Finish times vary depending on volume expect long days 8 to 10 hours on a consistent basis
Open Availability - Sunday's to Saturday's / Stat holidays may be required
Minimum 25 years of age or older
Working conditions
The Driver will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
Physical requirements
The Truck Driver has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy objects. Drivers sit but also stand, walk, bend and stoop to unload orders. Lifting and carrying of product up to 75lbs
