Responsibilities Visual Merchandising \xc2\xb7 Assist in the layout and display of merchandise in line with MUJI Canada\xe2\x80\x99s visual standards \xc2\xb7 Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the store at all times \xc2\xb7 Use weekly reports to maintain detailed stock information for practical display use \xc2\xb7 Be conversant in all product knowledge and communicate information to staff \xc2\xb7 Be aware of all advertising to appropriately inform staff and promote products \xc2\xb7 Support sales by implementing proper face-map control Customer Service \xc2\xb7 Promote total quality service at all stages of sale \xc2\xb7 Deal promptly and efficiently with customer complaints and in accordance with MUJI Canada\xe2\x80\x99s policy \xc2\xb7 Communicate customer views and reactions to Store Manager and Head Office, when applicable \xc2\xb7 Ensure all areas are appropriately staffed at all times of the day and all customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs are met \xc2\xb7 Helps customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; preparing merchandise for delivery Merchandising Stock and General Administration \xc2\xb7 Help plan and run promotional sales \xc2\xb7 Oversee stock supervisor in the maintenance and replenishment of stock, transferring and receiving stock and stockroom organization \xc2\xb7 Complete and maintain \xe2\x80\x98Leave Request\xe2\x80\x99 forms for personnel \xc2\xb7 Ensure staff breaks are rotated daily and adhered to \xc2\xb7 Responsible for exercising control over all company assets and assisting in the inventory process \xc2\xb7 Be fully conversant with the MUJI interface \xc2\xb7 Be fully aware of Key Performance Indicators (KPI\xe2\x80\x99s) and key calendar dates \xc2\xb7 Manage inventory by determining appropriate inventory levels; anticipating customer demand \xc2\xb7 Prepares requested reports \xc2\xb7 Ensure customer satisfaction by seasonal merchandising presentation Sales \xc2\xb7 Introduce and promote all categories of merchandise demonstrating consistently high standards in all areas of branch operations \xc2\xb7 Track and communicate both store and company budgets, assuring that all staff maintain an appropriate awareness \xc2\xb7 Evaluates competition by visiting competing stores; gathering information such as style, quality, and prices of competitive merchandise Team Management \xc2\xb7 Provide support to the store manager in recruiting new staff in accordance with MUJI Canada procedures \xc2\xb7 Work with the store manager to ensure all staff receives appropriate and necessary training to perform their duties at a high standard \xc2\xb7 Assist store manager in organizing staff schedules to achieve the most effective coverage, ensuring that overtime is minimized Point of Sale \xc2\xb7 Maintain superior knowledge of point-of-sale system \xc2\xb7 Guarantee end of day procedures are followed in line with MUJI Canada guidelines Staff Training \xc2\xb7 Work with the manager to perfect the customers journey with focused customer service training and best seller information \xc2\xb7 Work with Manager in the general security of stock regarding customers and staff \xc2\xb7 Maintain awareness of security with all staff members. Seek to heighten awareness on shop floor \xc2\xb7 Ensure incident reports are filled to record any unusual occurrence \xc2\xb7 Trains store staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials; delivering training sessions; reviewing staff job results and learning needs with store manager Health & Safety \xc2\xb7 Ensure company policy on Health and Safety is adhered to \xc2\xb7 Maintain profits by ensuring a clean sales floor and store environment Security \xc2\xb7 Takes responsibility for security of the store as well as stock and cash and escalate any issues \xc2\xb7 Limit stock losses to the minimum working with commercial averages Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $46,342.40 per year Benefits:
