Faculty/Department Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance Unit Media, Art, and Performance-Music Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary
Leading the auditioned wind ensemble made up of university students and community members. This ensemble performs challenging standard and contemporary wind band repertoire. The position includes selecting repertoire; rehearsing; conducting; and organizing concerts, tours, clinics, and other performance opportunities.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate should possess a Master's degree in conducting or demonstrate extensive work and an active profile of teaching wind band at a local and provincial level. University teaching experience and experience in conducting university-level ensembles is preferred.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
107-001 and 107-003 are currently scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:45pm on campus.
