Faculty/Department Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance Unit Media, Art, and Performance-Music Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary
Leading the non-auditioned concert band made up of university students and community members. The position includes selecting repertoire; rehearsing; conducting; and organizing concerts, clinics, and other performance opportunities.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate should possess a Master's degree in conducting or demonstrate extensive work and an active profile of teaching wind band at a local and provincial level. University teaching experience and experience in conducting university-level ensembles is preferred.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
MUEN 101-001 and MUEN 101-003 are currently scheduled on Thursdays from 7:30pm-9:20pm on campus.
