Job Description

This position is responsible for the repair of a wide variety of specialized equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven xc3x82 (family of brands) stores within a geographic area. Service calls are initiated from the store via 7Help work orders to appropriate technician.Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager.xc3x82 xc3x82Please note: The qualified candidate works after hours calls during regular working days and works a rotational schedule of stores covering off peers on weekends and stat holidaysxc3x82The hourly range for this role ranges from $30/hr to $40/hrLocations include: Maple Ridge, Coquitlam, Langley

• Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment which include, but may not be limited to Minor repairs of HVAC, minor repairs to refrigeration, hot beverage equipment (ex. coffee, cappuccino) , cold beverage equipment (ex. tea, fountain, FBD/Taylor, FCB, creamer machine), fountain/backroom ice makers, Hot food equipment (ex. fryers, griddles tortilla presses, ovens, roller grills, warmers), fuel dispensers (ex. printers, displays card readers, hanging hardware) etc.
• Responds to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues, including working outside on building/roof.

• Responsible for ordering and management of parts inventory on truck
• Responsible for replacing xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x98plug and playxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 equipment as needed
• Schedules and prioritizes duties and work assignments on a daily basis
• Responsible for ordering and management of parts inventory for truck
• Completes required reports and paperwork daily to account for the time and use of parts and materials
• Observes and inspects equipment to determine if servicing or further action is required
• Reads, interprets, and follows procedures described in service manuals per manufacturer guidelines
• Calibrates pumps, dispensers and other equipment in accordance with legal standards
• Recommends when an outside contractor is required to handle a maintenance issue
• Provides training to less experienced technicians as needed
• Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by management
• Complies with and follows all safety regulations and protocols
