MS Azure Architect (contract)

Description:

Our client is seeking a Microsoft Azure Architect for a contract employment opportunity until the end of 2023. The Microsoft Azure Architect will have extensive experience working with O365, Active Directory (AD), and Azure Active Directory. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and quick to learn the ins and outs of the client\'s environment. This role is fully remote, within Canada, with the possibility of extension, at the clients discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Azure Active Directory and ensuring successful application integrations, tie-ins, and syncs.
• Enabling SSO configuration across multiple authentication platforms and applications.
• Supporting O365.
• Working with vendors to ensure SSO capabilities are correctly configured and meet security requirements.
• Creating PowerShell scripts to support projects connecting users in AD.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a related role.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and M365 technical knowledge.
• Experience with Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of security best practices and protocols in Azure Active Directory.
• Experience configuring SSO for applications across different authentication platforms.
• Knowledge of security protocols related to third-party apps and SSO requirements.
• Solid experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
