AGS is looking for an MRO Coordinator to join our dynamic organization.


JOB SUMMARY




The MRO Coordinator is responsible for but not limited to: providing support to the Corporate MRO Procurement Team in the execution of procurement activities and supporting the overall purchasing function for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) materials and services for a multi-facility operation.

MAIN DUTIESRESPONSIBILITIES



Data Entry of Purchase Orders: Accurately input and maintain purchase orders into the system, ensuring timely and accurate data entry. MRO Part Number Management: Manage the setup and maintenance of part numbers for MRO items in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records. Review Purchase OrdersRequisitions: Ensure purchase orders and requisitions are accurate, complete, and meet company standards. Maintain Purchasing Files: Organize, update, and store purchasing records in accordance with company policies and procedures for easy access and reference. Assist with Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from internal departments, plants, and suppliers regarding purchase orders, product details, and order statuses. Problem Resolution for A/P: Investigate and resolve issues related to Accounts Payable, including discrepancies in invoices and packing slips, by conducting thorough research and follow-up. Liaise with AGS Plants on Requirements

Coordinate with AGS plants to understand and address their purchasing needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with procurement processes and timely order fulfillment Report Preparation: Assist in preparing regular procurement reports and provide insights into purchasing trends and inventory status.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



Education: College Diploma or equivalent experience Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a procurement department or similar role, with a solid understanding of procurement processes. Strong AnalyticalProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess situations and provide solutions effectively. Proficiency in Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data analysis tools. Exceptional Verbal Communication: Strong command of English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. OrganizationalTime Management Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritizing tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS



Required to adhere to and comply with environmental, health and safety rules/policies related to the job function and business conduct guidelines. Most work is carried out in a typical business office, with visits to the shop floor that require wearing personal protective equipment (safety footwear, hearing protection, safety glasses) in appropriate areas. Travel to other AGS sites occasionally.
