Overview

At MI-BOX Calgary, we're looking for someone who can keep our operations running smoothly behind the scenes and hit the road when needed. We're searching for someone who can balance organization, problem solving, and hands-on work. In this role, you'll coordinate and maintain the yard and warehouse, maintain equipment and containers, and step in to deliver storage units to customers when demand is high.

Duties

Manage daily warehouse operations including container organization ,cleaning and maintenance. Handle warehouse and yard maintenance. Load and unload storage containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist in storage container assembly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist with minor automotive and equipment repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. Serve as an overflow deliver driver for mobile storage units (training provided). Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients on site during deliveries. Support the team with other operational tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving is required (minimum 3 years heavy truck experience), with a valid class 5 driver's license. Airbrakes/Q Endorsement is an asset. Clean driver's abstract. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and forklift use. Knowledge of automotive repair can be beneficial for maintaining delivery trucks and equipment. Experience in freight handling or logistics is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of safe loading and unloading practices. Comfortable with physical work. Strong organizational skills and adaptation to quick schedule changes. The ability to work with the team, helping wherever needed.

Pay: $20.00-$28.43 per hour
