We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and relocation of household furniture, ensuring that items are moved safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and moving, as well as a strong commitment to customer service. Relevant heavy lifting / driving experience required.

Experience driving straight truck (G class) desired but not a necessity.

Must be reliable, punctual, and have the hustle to maintain pace while moving and lifting furniture without damage to items or customer property (ie walls, floors).

Food delivery and retail experience is not relatable or acceptable experience.

Must have transportation to and from yard and be located in Woodstock or immediate surrounding area.

Lates and call in or no shows will not be tolerated.

Cash tips are common on residential moving jobs.

Furniture deliveries require fast paced efficiency without constant direction. Assembly of furniture and ability to operate tools to assemble required.

Responsibilities

- Safely load and unload items from trucks

- Ensure that all items are securely packed and protected during transport with moving blankets.

- Communicate with customers regarding their moving needs and provide exceptional service throughout the process.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the truck.

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling heavy lifting tasks.

Skills

- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.

- Experience in moving services or related fields is required.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service at all times.

- Valid G license is an asset and receive higher compensation.
