Let's Get Moving - Fredericton is seeking a reliable and professional Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting, loading, and unloading goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy lifting, and moving operations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries across designated routes. Duties

Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods to clients' locations. Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of all cargo. Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist customers with their moving needs, providing courteous and professional service throughout the process. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and equipment at all times. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure operational safety. Assist with warehouse organization, including loading supplies and inventory management as needed.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and navigation. Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during deliveries. Warehouse experience including familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks for loading/unloading cargo. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during moves or deliveries. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is preferred. Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license suitable for driver classifications or equivalent. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse procedures. Excellent organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and route planning. This position is vital for ensuring smooth logistics operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
